What 's the best time for the photo shoot?

The light is the best in early mornings and evenings (a couple of hours before sunset). But don't forget about your family's schedule especially if you have little kids think about their nap and meal times.

Where do we do the shoot?

I don't work in a studio. Your family doesn't live in a studio why should you take pictures in one?

Lets pick a place where you all are going to feel relaxed. It can be your house, backyard, the beach or your favorite park.

You are welcome to suggest any location that you like, or I can give you some ideas.

What should I bring for an outdoor shoot?

  • Water and treats for kid

  • You may bring something to sit on, such as a blanket or something waterproof, if you’re not comfortable sitting on the ground

  • If there are some items special to your family, feel free to bring them and I’ll incorporate them during our session

What to wear?

  • Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and attractive, something that shows your personality. If you want to see your child's happy face make sure he's comfortable otherwise nothing good will come of it, believe me!

  • Dress everyone in the same style ( casual or dressy)  and consider the location of the photo shoot and its surroundings

  • Keep it simple, avoid large logos and prints, solid colors work best

  • Mix and match clothes of 3-4 colors that make a pleasant color palette

  • Don't dress everyone in the same color

  • Pay attention to the shoes. Avoid neon or white sneakers, neutral colors work great

  • Still not sure about the outfits? Text them to me and we'll decide together

What  happens at the shoot?

My goal is to capture the real love and laughter. The moments you are going to treasure years later  are not you and your family sitting on the couch saying "CHEESE." Just let the kids be themselves running around in the back yard, doing hop scotch, blowing bubbles, drawing with sidewalk chalk, playing with their favorite toys, chasing the pets, sitting in the grass reading your kid's favorite books, or walking in a park.  I don't know about your family, but mine is never sitting together and posing for a picture.  Those aren't the moments we want to capture.  You won't be laughing about sitting on the couch at Junior's graduation, but I guarantee you'll all remember that picture where everyone was singing in the park. But don't worry! We'll take a couple of formal family portraits because you need to send something to Grandma.

When are my pictures gonna be ready?

Usually you receive your pictures in 2 weeks but it might take a little longer during busy times.
